What drew you to the rubber industry, and what has made your career in the industry rewarding?
I was still studying when, in 2001, I had the opportunity to work in the rubber lab for an trainee, but I had no knowledge in this segment.
What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
My biggest achievement was the opportunity to join a petrochemical complex company, in a rubber laboratory.
What do you count as your biggest failure and what has it taught you?
I have faced several barriers due to having completed the technical course in chemistry at a public school, with ineffective teaching. For this reason, I worked hard to gain space within the company.
Who or what inspires you?
My faith, because it was through her that I got here!
Who were your career mentors, and what role did they play?
Eberval Gama was my mentor. He helped me a lot and believed in me and my potential!
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Set a goal and work until you reach it!

Companies need to offer them more career opportunities!
