What drew you to the rubber industry, and what has made your career in the industry rewarding?
It's the most common sector in the industrial zone of my city. Work here has allowed me to perform as an engineer.
What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
Finding a job opportunity without experience and staying active in this industry for 10 years.
What do you count as your biggest failure and what has it taught you?
Not balancing the work environment and the personal environment. These years have helped me to set priorities without neglecting both areas.

My family.
Who were your career mentors, and what role did they play?
My first bosses. They were my guides, they gave me support, trust and advice to do my work well.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Be an honest and responsible person.
If you were CEO of a company, what would you do first?
Get to know my collaborators and their needs, and review the financial situation of the business.
What would you tell someone considering a career in the rubber industry?
That it's a good opportunity, within a profitable and challenging industry.
In your opinion, what needs to be done to encourage females to pursue STEM-related careers?
Offer them opportunities in different areas, not limit them because they are women, and support them for their professional growth.
