AKRON—Connections have become an essential part of the Women of the Rubber Division program, which culminates with an annual forum hosted in conjunction with the International Elastomer Conference.
The ACS Rubber Division is working to keep the conversations going all year long with its WORD Conversations, an online series designed to provide opportunities to connect, network and learn. The hour-long events will be held throughout the year and will feature inspirational women throughout the industry.
Small group breakout sessions will allow participants to further discuss issues, share advice and build stronger industry connections.
The first session, planned for noon EST on March 24, will feature a discussion with Judit Puskas, the first woman to receive the Charles Goodyear Medal.
The session will be hosted through Zoom, is free to attend and open to all. Registration is required and can be done online.
