GRANTHAM, England—Vipal Rubber will see its brand receive more exposure on the roadways of the United Kingdom.
The company is working with Vaculug Ltd., Europe's largest independent retreader based in Grantham, to put the Vipal name and logo on two trucks operated by Vaculug.
The two companies have been working together for 12 years.
"It will be a great branding action for Vipal. We are going to take the logo stamped on our vehicles to different locations through our domestic market to gain even more recognition, besides of showing everyone our excellent relationship," Vaculug Executive Chairman Haarjeev S. Kandhari said in a statement.
"We also want to reinforce with our internal team and drivers the confidence we have in the company and its products, which we have proven on the road to be the best and most durable in the market when it comes to tire retreads," he said.
Vipal Rubber, based in Porto Alegre, Brazil, calls itself one of the largest tire retreading companies in the world. Operations include 13 distribution centers and a presence in more than 90 countries.
"This shows how strong the relationship and commitment is between Vaculug and Vipal. It is a source of pride for us to supply treads and other products to a retreader with so much tradition," Vipal Rubber Commercial Manager Fabricio Nedeff said in a statement.
Vipal also operates four manufacturing plants that have a combined installed capacity of 19,000 tons per month.
