AKRON—The Tire Society, the scientific organization dedicated to the tire industry, is making its annual call for both abstracts and presentations for the 41st annual Tire Society Meeting and Conference on Tire Science and Technology.
The conference is set for Sept. 12-13, in-person with an available virtual option, at the University of Akron in the Jean Hower Taber Student Union Ballroom.
The theme will be "New Horizons in Tire Evaluation."
The abstract submission deadline is April 29, while presentations are due July 29. Find submission information on the call for papers here.
The gathering is intended for engineers, scientists, users, policymakers, students and advocates for the industry, with a goal being the effective communication of knowledge and research.
Attendees, whether in-person or virtual, can expect to see technical paper presentations; a keynote address and plenary lecture; panel discussions; sponsor exhibits; and an awards banquet, among other events.
For those who wish to attend virtually, "exact details are still being worked out, but authors may be confident that they will have an opportunity to present their work even if they are unable to travel to the conference in person," the Tire Society said.
Recordings of the paper presentations will be available for attendees after the conference. For more information, email [email protected].
