Sailun launched the project to manufacture rubber tracks in Vietnam in May last year, following a "thorough market research." The entire project, from industry research, technology introduction, equipment procurement, team formation, and production, was completed in just over seven months, the group said.
The first model of the rubber track follows the specifications of the 450x86x58 Maxam MT130, designed for loaders. The track "boasts high strength" and is suitable for a range of machinery, including loaders, excavators, construction machinery and agricultural equipment.
The track features a new "H"-shaped pattern, providing enhanced traction for loaders, and applies a rubber compound that is "more resistant to punctures and cuts," enabling an extended service life.
"The debut of the first rubber track marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Vietnam plant," Sailun said, adding that the group is "committed to making substantial advancements in this field, continually enhancing product quality and service, and delivering high-quality rubber tracks to customers worldwide."
