FINDLAY, Ohio—Some familiar names in the world of rubber are ranked among the world's best employers this year by Forbes.
Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is part of the World's Best Employers 2020 list, ranking 143rd out of 750 companies listed. That puts Cooper in the top 20 percent on the Forbes list.
Forbes compiled the ranking based on employee ratings on topics including COVID-19 response, gender equality, social responsibility, talent development and economic footprint, Cooper said.
"Being ranked a World's Best Employer speaks volumes about our company culture and practices, and the pride employees take in being part of the Cooper team," said Paula Whitesell, senior vice president and chief human resources officer.

The Forbes list includes companies headquartered in 45 countries. Some 160,000 workers in 58 countries were surveyed to compile information used to determine the winners.
