NOKIA, Finland—Nokian Tyres P.L.C. has expanded its Ground Kare excavator tire portfolio in North America with three new sizes.
The three new tires are:
- 710/40-22.5, which boasts an extra-large footprint for working on soft soil;
- 600/50-22.5, which Nokian calls "an excellent choice" for smaller machines; and
- 620/60-30, which "offers excellent load-bearing capacity." That size is also available as a special semi-slick version for railway use.
"Having the wheel and tire both optimized for the intended use guarantees seamless working," Nokian Product Manager Kimmo Kekki said, noting the company's Tube Edge wheels have a reinforced structure that supports the tires "in a best possible way."
Kekko said the Ground Kare line is an all-round tire for many kinds of jobs, enabling (contractors) to do more with their excavator.
