ATLANTA — Apollo Tyres Ltd. has introduced the Vredestein Comtrac Cargo A/S tire, designed specifically for fleet owners, van drivers and delivery vehicles navigating urban environments.
The Comtrac Cargo A/S is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of urban use and variable weather conditions, the company said.
Features of the Vredestein Comtrac Cargo A/S include:
- Higher tensile steel belts that offer rigidity and strength for heavy-duty vans;
- Tread pattern with optimized sipes to enhance grip in light winter conditions; functionalized polymer-based tread compound for wet and snow performance; and circumferential and transverse grooves to reduce the risk of hydroplaning; and
- A blend of filler technology to reduce abrasion of the tread.
