Mighty Wholesale to distribute TGI's Cosmo Tires

MIAMI—There is Mighty good news for Tire Group International's Cosmo brand.

Canton, Ohio-based Mighty Tire Wholesale Inc. has been named a new distributor of the Cosmo brand, as TGI continues to expand the range and market access of the tire product for consumers.

According to TGI, Mighty Tire Wholesale, a wholly-owned division of Ziegler Tire, has been a "trusted partner to the independent tire dealers for 30 years." TGI said Mighty is known for its outstanding customer service and developing long-lasting partnerships.

"With both organizations being family- owned, it was a natural fit, and we understand the complexities of the independent tire dealer," John Zieigler, Vice President of Mighty Tire Wholesale, said. "Cosmo Tires will help us meet the ever-changing needs of our customers."

TGI CEO Tony Gonzalez said the wholesaler adds value to his company's dealer network.

"Cosmo Tires are renowned for their innovative technology, exceptional performance, and superior durability," he said

Private label Cosmo Tires was founded in 1995 and is distributed by TGI.

Ziegler Tire was founded in 1919, servicing Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

TGI recently hired former Mickey Thompson Tires executive Dominick Montouri to be its chief strategy officer, focusing on the Cosmo brand.

In late July, TGI announced it had opened its first retail tire outlet, under its Cosmo tire brand, with Paul's Tire Services, which has been a TGI client for more than 19 years. Paul's Tire also operates a location in Miami, where TGI is headquartered.
