GREENVILLE, S.C.—Michelin North America Inc. plans to increase prices July 1 in the U.S. and Canada by up to 6 percent on its Uniroyal-brand commercial tires and "select" Michelin-brand off-highway tires.
Michelin said the increases are "in response to market conditions."
The increases affect select Michelin-brand loader, grader, articulated dump truck and crane tires in certain fitments.
The increases are Michelin's first since January when it increased prices up to 5 percent on Michelin-, BFGoodrich- and Uniroyal-brand passenger and light-truck tires in the U.S. and Canada.
It last raised prices on commercial market tires in December, increasing them up to 8 percent on national accounts in the U.S.
