DANVERS, Mass.—Maxam Tire has announced the launch of its newest specialty tire product known as the MS330.
The new tire is "engineered to excel across demanding applications" and deliver superior performance to customers in all applications in an increasingly competitive OTR market, the company said.
The new tire model boasts improved traction patterns, increased tread depth, heightened heat resistance and a fortified casing design, the company said. The tire is designed for off-the-road applications and comes with a scuff bar to protect its sidewalls.
The redesigned E3/L3 traction pattern features a more "aggresive" look that increases grip on challenging surfaces to help operators "maintain control in diverse conditions," Maxam said. And a deeper tread maximizes traction to extend the life of the tire.
The MS330's "enhanced construction" and undertread compounds also work in tandem to reduce heat build-up for consistent performance.
Maxam said the tire's design translates to a lower cost to owners as its robust casing resists damage and maintains integrity under heavy loads and its larger overall diameter and tread width "deliver optimal ground contact" for improved stability that reduces wear and tear.
Jimmy McDonnell, vice president of sales and marketing, said that the company puts innovation for the customer at the core of everything it produces. He added that in designing the MS330, Maxam wanted to deliver a premium tire for tough conditions.
"The MS330 embodies our spirit of continuous improvement and unwavering commitment to manufacturing the best products for our end users," McDonnell said. "We've designed the MS330 with cutting-edge features that not only elevate performance, but also enhance the user experience."
