MINAS GERAIS, Brazil—Italian retreading equipment manufacturer Marangoni S.p.A. will celebrate the 20-year anniversary of its Minas Gerais factory on April 24.
The plant introduced the Ringtread bus- and truck-tire retreading system to the country and to Latin America in 2001, the company said in a statement.
Marangoni said it continues to invest in Brazil with "new products and technologies that will allow it to constantly renew its mission to deliver the best tire retreading materials."
"It's 20 years delivering new life for truck and bus tyres in Brazil and Latin America, and we're proud to deliver high-quality products, with the credibility and trust that Marangoni has around the world," Giacomo Melotti, CEO of the Brazilian unit, said in the release. "It's a date we celebrate by being on every road in the country, with products traveling countless kilometers to every corner of the continent. This is what drives us to keep developing solutions more and more complete and sustainable."
