RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.—Giti Tire (USA) Ltd. has unveiled the GT Radial MaxClimate all-weather tire for grand touring and CUV vehicles.
The tire, which carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMS) designation for snow performance, will be available in 43 sizes, covering 17- to 20-inch rims, 40 to 65 series and H/V speed ratings.
The MaxClimate is engineered to provide a smooth and quiet ride, while providing responsive handling in wet, dry and wintry conditions, the company said.
Features include:
- Full-depth, zigzag sipes providing additional biting edges and traction to achieve the 3PMS severe weather certification;
- Asymmetric tread design for handling and touring-style comfort, with increased wet and snow driving performance; and
- Water evacuation grooves that redistribute water away from the tire contact area in wet and slushy conditions.
The tire is backed by a 60,000-mile limited treadwear warranty, plus a road hazard warranty, 24-hour roadside assistance and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
