FORT MILL, S.C.—Continental A.G. is recalling 7,103 passenger and SUV/CUV tires from the three product lines — including 2,937 in the U.S.—that may experience sudden air loss or belt-edge separation, which could lead to partial or full tread loss.
Conti said it has not received any reports of accidents or injuries related to these tires. All tires that are the subject of this voluntary recall will be replaced free of charge.
In the U.S. market, 2,937 of the targeted tires were sold through the tire replacement business or are still in tire dealers' inventories, Conti said.
