NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations will raise prices on all Firestone truck and bus radial tires sold in the U.S., beginning Nov. 1. Most prices will increase by about 5 percent, but some prices could increase by as much as 8 percent.
The price hike is due to current market conditions, including rising production and transportation costs, the tire maker said.
All Firestone truck and bus tires shipped on or after Nov. 1 will reflect this increase.
Members of the Bridgestone commercial sales team are contacting customers to provide more detailed information about the changes, the company said.
Bridgestone last increased tire prices in March 2019 on its Dayton-brand truck and bus radial tires sold in the U.S. by up to 20 percent. It last raised prices on its Firestone truck tires in February 2019 by up to 4 percent.
