NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Bridgestone is upgrading its Battlax motorcylce tire line with the Battlax Hypersport S23, a sports radial motorcycle tire designed for both track and street use.
Ultimately, Bridgestone said, the new tire offers optimal performance without sacrificing tire wear.
The Battlax Hypersport S23 leans into the sporty feel that riders demand, offering "exceptional" dry grip as well as wet grip.
Behind the sporty feel is a newly design compound in the edge portion of the tread. This allows the tire to make better contact with the road—particularly when banking or on sharp angles—and maximizes edge grip when cornering.
An updated tread pattern, which relies on the company's Pulse Groove Technology, provides improved stability and handling. This can help experienced riders better handle difficult and wet weather road conditions for enhanced grip and precision handling.
The tire will be available in North America, beginning in January.
