BFGoodrich launches g-Force Phenom T/A

GREENVILLE, S.C.—BFGoodrich Tires, a Michelin North American Inc. family brand, has rolled out its latest summer tire, the g-Force Phenom T/A. The ultra-high performance offering is engineered for both wet and dry conditions.

For this, the tire maker turned to dual-tread design, which features an optimized wet zone for water evacuation, while the dry zone offers maximum road contact to help drivers maintain control. The silica-infused compound is intended to enhance the tire's wet grip characteristics.

Meanwhile, stiff sidewalls, the shallow shoulder and offset shoulder grooves are intended to offer feedback and enhanced cornering.

"We're thrilled to launch the g-Force Phenom T/A tire, which was built to be the easiest upgrade enthusiasts can make to boost the performance and look of their cars," Andrew Besancon, senior director of recreational brands, said in a statement. "BFGoodrich has been engineering category-defining tires for more than 150 years. With this new tire, we're offering consumers strong performance and a smart value from a race-proven brand."

A total of 20 sizes are available as soon as Feb. 14, but an additional 30 sizes will be added to the market in April. The tire maker anticipates added more sizes later in 2025 and into the spring of 2026.
