WAUKEGAN, Ill.—Private-brand tire distributor Atturo Tire is adding an all-weather tire, the Atturo AZ810, to its AZ performance portfolio with 16 "enthusiast-focused" sizes covering 17- to 24-inch rim diameters initially.
Atturo plans to debut the AZ810 at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas (South Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth No. 44167) alongside a wide array of other products that reflect the company's "Performance Within Reach" motto.
The AZ810 features an asymmetrical tread pattern, with three circumferential grooves with swooping channels, 3D sipes and a maximum number of biting edges, designed to offer improved snow traction, a performance characteristic backed up by the industry's 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMS) designation.
Atturo said the tire's compounding and distinctive tread pattern help wet grip and handling as well, on par with Atturo's AZ850 summer UHP tire.
The initial set of sizes cover section widths from 225mm to 305mm, with aspect ratios spanning from 35 to 55 series. More sizes will be added throughout 2024, Atturo said.
Pricing information was not disclosed. Atturo backs the tire with a 45,000-mile limited treadwear warranty.
Atturo said the AZ810 is suitable for use on hybrid and electric vehicles (EV) where the required speed and load ratings are matched. The tire's tread pattern is designed with a "harmonics-cheating" sequence for reduced noise generation.
Atturo is sourcing the AZ810 from a supplier in Thailand.
