ATLANTA—Apollo Tyres Ltd. is using three iconic American locations to help roll out its latest tire dsigned for the North American market.

The Mumbia, India-based tire maker introduced its latest product, the Vredestein Pinza HT with signage at two U.S. football stadiums: Autzen Stadium, home to college football's Oregon Ducks, in Eugene Ore.; AT&T Stadium, home of the National Football League's Dallas Cowboys; and Hollywood's Sunset Strip.

The launch comes on the heels of Apollo's introduction of the Vredestein Pinza AT, which was launched with a visual display on New York's Times Square.

The Vredestein Pinza HT was on display the end zone at' Autzen Stadium, providing the message to more than 50,000 fans. A similar message was seen by the estimated 200,000 who attended the Q BBQ Fest, at AT&T Stadium.

And Vredestein got its message across to stars in Hollywood with its display on Sunset Strip , via a next-generation digital billboard and art installation.

Apollo said that by telling the story of the tire across the U.S.,and tapping into "popular American pastimes," the message is clear: the tire is for the American drive.

Abhishek Bisht, assistant vice president, Americas, said Apollo remains "committed to building the Vredestein brand in the United States and this communication campaign is a step in that direction." We carefully selected events and venues across the country that align with our target demographic to connect with our customers on a grassroots level."

The Pinza HT, a highway all-season tire designed for trucks, SUVs and CUVs, will be available through Vredestein's network across the U.S.

The tire's unique features include a symmetric pattern molded from an all-season tread compound that is intended to improve treadwear. The tire's large shoulder blocks help the vehicle's cornering ability, Apollo said, while providing improved handling in vehicles with a higher center of gravity or under heavy loads.

The product features staggered tread blocks to minimize road noise as well as generous, pass-through notches that help evacuate water into large circumferential grooves to decrease the chances of hydroplaning.

The tire is available in 38 sizes, including 10 light truck sizes and 18 P metric sizes. It comes with a 70,000-mile warranty (50,000-mile for LT sizes) and also has a road-hazard warranty.

The tires are ready for order and available in the U.S.

There are 85 Pinza sizes available between the Pinza AT and Pinza HT. All tires are manufactured in India or at Apollo's European plants.
