SINGAPORE—Helixtap Technologies is out with a new whitepaper regarding sustainable business practices in the natural rubber industry.
The whitepaper also explores the "need for technology to drive transparency for improved sustainable outcomes," the digital marketplace for the rubber industry said.
The paper focuses on sustainable areas including zero-carbon emissions, fair labor practices and protection of wildlife and the environment.
"Collaboration between key stakeholders, such as consumers, governments, NGOs, and investors across many commodity types, including in the natural rubber industry is improving sustainable practices," Helixtap Technologies CEO Farah Miller said in a statement.
"But it is the appropriate use of innovative technologies and the associated changes around people and processes that will offer the next step to sustainability adoption, particularly as the commodities industry increasingly recognizes that these risks are holistic and compounding," Miller said.
