SINGAPORE—Lanxess India Pvt. Ltd. has joined the International Rubber Study Group as an associate member, according to a Dec. 7 IRSG news release.
Lanxess India, incorporated in India in 2004, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lanxess Deutschland GmbH.
Based in Thane, India, the subsidiary is represented through 11 business units with a sales office in New Delhi. The company has about 1,000 employees across its operations.
The company operates two production facilities in Nagda in Madhya Pradesh and Jhagadia in Gujarat, according to IRSG.
Among other products, Lanxess India manufactures solutions for Rhein Chemie Corp. at its facility in Jhagadia.
Rhein Chemie offers products for the rubber industry, including rubber chemicals, specialty chemicals and processing aids.
