SINGAPORE—The International Rubber Study Group seeks applications until Dec. 15 for the position of IRSG secretary general.
The appointment will begin Jan. 1, 2021, and will be for four years initially, the IRSG said. Applicants must be citizens of IRSG member countries, it said.
Candidates for secretary general must have a university degree or its equivalent, the group said. They must have demonstrated strong management, analytical and communications skills, and knowledge of the synthetic and natural rubber and related industries is a plus, it said.
Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement for the job, as well as the administrative and interpersonal skills needed to run an international organization, it said.
The position of secretary-general is remunerated at grade D1 of the United Nations Professional Staff salary scales, the IRSG said. For more information about the job, including salary, go to http://www.rubberstudy.com.
Salvatore Pinizzotto is the current IRSG secretary general. The IRSG did not say when Pinizzotto will depart the organization, or why.
