PAWCATUCK, Conn.—Davis-Standard L.L.C., manufacturer of custom extrusion and converting equipment, received orders exceeding $17 million at the K 2019 trade show in Dusseldorf, Germany, the company said.
The new orders represent the full spectrum of Davis-Standard's product lines, including pipe and tube systems, blown film systems and coating and lamination systems, the company said in a press release.
In addition to complete lines, Davis-Standard also has several developing projects for equipment and technology upgrades to existing product lines, it said.
This was the first time Davis-Standard exhibited at K with the newest members of its global brand, the company said. These include Mallefer, Brampton Engineering and TSL, it said.
Davis-Standard President and CEO Jim Murphy said the company's performance at K exceeded expectations.
"Our brand message, 'Where your ideas take shape,' has resonated with customers as we work to build and promote sustainable solutions that support the circular economy," Murphy said.
