RAVENNA, Ohio—Ace Products & Consulting will offer five specialized training seminars on rubber processing in a collaboration with TechnoBiz.
USA Rubber Training Week, designed for chemists, engineers and technical managers, will take place Dec. 2-5 at Ace's Ravenna headquarters, according to a company news release.
The classes over the four-day period include: Property design by optimal curing technology; the impact of compounding, mixing and vulcanization on fatigue life and durability; reinforcement of rubber by low and high-aspect nano-fillers; thermoplastic elastomers; and specialty rubbers.
The courses will be led by instructor Robert Schuster, a rubber scientist and technologist with more than 40 years in the rubber industry. Ace said registration is $1,800 for all four days and includes continental breakfast and lunch.
The training week is the first time the courses, which have been offered throughout Europe and Asia, will be available in North America, Erick Sharp, Ace CEO and president, said in a statement.
