MANHEIM, Pa.— Fenner Drives has introduced a new line of belts designed for roller conveyor applications manufactured using polyurethane with elastic reinforcement.
The Eagle Poly-V line of belts, featuring PJ-profile belts, along with the remainder of Fenner's product line, was showcased at the recent Modex 2020 show in Atlanta.
Fenner said the new belt line provides equal load capacity to conventional rubber belts, along with other benefits not seen in conventional belts, including longer life, less fatigue, lower required running tension, less downtime, added efficiency and cost savings.
Unique to the Eagle Poly-V belt line, according to Fenner, is its self-tensioning, which can result in "consistently enhanced belt performance."
"Eagle Poly-V belts are the latest innovation from Fenner Drives using high performance polyurethane materials to improve performance and efficiency in conveying and material handling applications," said Tyson Gabler, director, product management for belting.
Gabler said Fenner's global reach will make sales and support for the belting line easier for customers as well.
"Product, sales and support are available worldwide for customers looking to take advantage of this unique solution," Gabler said.
Fenner Drive customers can be found in a range of industries, including climate control, food processing, and glass and tile manufacturing.
