NORTHVILLE, Mich.—Cooper-Standard Automotive Inc. was recognized for its commitments to sustainable and socially responsible business practices by Nissan Motor Corp. during its 2023 Supplier Appreciation Event in Nashville, Tenn.
This marks the second time Northville-based fluid handling and sealings solutions provider earned the recognition.
"We are honored to once again be recognized by Nissan as a leader in sustainability," Shannon Quinn, Cooper-Standard vice president and chief commercial and strategy officer, said in a statement. "With a longtime commitment to sustainability, Cooper Standard continues to innovate new products and processes that address the global sustainability challenges of our stakeholders through light-weighting, efficiency improvement, and carbon footprint reduction."
During the event, hosted Sept. 27, Nissan honored suppliers who achieve high levels of sustainable performance, based on EcoVadis scores. Cooper-Standard demonstrated excellence in the areas of environment, labor and human rights as well as ethics and sustainable procurement, according to a news release.
