BEIJING—China exported $848 million worth of mattresses and bedding products in August, 0.9 percent more than August 2018.
The value of exports over the first eight months of 2019 reached $6.2 billion. This is up by 3.6 percent from the same period in 2018, according to China's General Administration of Customs.
August's export value also rose by 1.8 percent when compared with July, when the export value $833 million, an increase of 5.2 percent when compared with July 2018.
Total exports throughout the first seven months was $5.3 billion, an increase of 4.1 percent from a year ago.
