FULDA, Germany—Uth Machinery GmbH will present what it calls "the latest generation" in fine mesh straining and gear pump extrusion technology at Tire Technology Expo 2024.
The expo is set for March 19-21 in Hanover, Germany.
Updates to its rubber processing solutions enable greater sustainability and efficiency in rubber processing and tire manufacturing, according to Uth.
The company will be at booth No. 4002.
"The company will present its current product line-up based on the proven roll-ex technology, offering solutions that have established themselves worldwide as the standard for gentle and clean processing of rubber compounds," Uth said in a Jan. 29 release.
Uth's offerings can be used for serial production, system solutions or custom-made machinery for its clients.
Applications are in tire manufacturing, automotive parts/other mechanical rubber goods, silicone compounding, threads for wire and cable goods, and adhesives and sealants.
At the Tire Tech Expo, Uth will highlight further development of the roll-ex fine mesh strainer and gear pump technology that "create customized solutions that meet the increasing demands for quality, resource efficiency, sustainability and cost-effectiveness in the rubber and tire industry."
Uth said its extrusion and straining solutions provide an avenue to meet increasingly higher thresholds and regulatory standards, including the reduction of tire rejection rates.
Uth's roll-ex extrusion system has throughputs of up to 10,000 kilograms per hour.
"In particular, inline straining offers advantages in tire production ... when straining masterbatch stages or final batch," Uth said.
The modular combination of the Uth's gear pump can be used in a modular format with a two-roll feeder or a conical double-screw extruder.
"And this allows integration in almost all mixing lines," Uth said.
In Hanover, Uth also will offer strip-making solutions with optional straining capability.
Visitors to the booth also can learn about two-roll plasticizer technology used in tire manufacturing.
