DES MOINES, Iowa—Titan International Inc. is sponsoring its annual Flags Over Harvest campaign for a fourth year to raise funds for Farm Rescue, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting farmers who have faced major illnesses, injuries or natural disasters.
Titan will be giving away American flags for farmers to display on their equipment during the harvest season. For every flag requested, Titan will donate $5 to Farm Rescue.
Throughout the 2023 growing season, Farm Rescue provided assistance to 64 farm families across its eight-state service territory. Whether it was planting, haying, harvest or livestock feeding, Farm Rescue's volunteers offered a helping hand. In June 2023, the organization assisted the 1,000th farm family since its inception in 2006.
In February Farm Rescue announced the addition of Wisconsin to its list of service states. Operations will begin with harvest assistance as of July 1.The organization is accepting assistance applications throughout Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Farm Rescue has been the beneficiary of Titan's Flags Over Harvest campaign since 2021, and the partnership is on track to raise $20,000 in support of the organization's assistance operations, Titan said.
Titan has further supported Farm Rescue by outfitting the nonprofit's equipment with sponsored Goodyear farm tires since 2018.
"This year marks a special milestone that we're honored to celebrate." Kim Boccardi, vice president of marketing at Titan, said.
"With each flag requested, not only will farmers be able to proudly display their patriotism, but they will also be making a meaningful contribution to Farm Rescue's mission, which is very near and dear to our hearts."
