DES MOINES, Iowa—Titan International Inc. has introduced a line "high-performing, cost-competitive" bias-ply R-1 farm tires, dubbed AgraVantage,
Titan said the line features 10 sizes for various applications, including irrigation pivots, tractors, MFWD tractors, 4WD tractors and combines.
The AgraVantage offers traction and durability where a bias tire is more than sufficient for a particular farm equipment, Titan said.
"The improved long bar/long bar tread pattern, new design elements, better clean out, and optimized construction make it a very appealing option for farmers to upgrade older but necessary equipment," Titan said.
"Notably, no other domestic manufacturer has committed to R-1 bias tire development in the last decade—making Titan the go-to choice as a solution provider for farmers and producers' operations."
The tire features:
- A modernized lug angle to maximize ground contact and ensure clean out;
- A wide, overlapping lug design for even wear and longer tread life; and
- Improved compounding using the latest materials and techniques to improve performance, durability and safety.
Customers can now place orders for all sizes of the AgraVantage line; more sizes are being developed for combines and grain carts, Titan said.
