RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.—In response to the Section 232 and Reciprocal Tariffs, Sumitomo Rubber North America (SRNA) announced it will increase prices on select products by up to 25 percent on passenger and light truck tires and by up to 10 percent on commercial truck and motorcycle products in the U.S. and Canada.
The price changes will take effect May 1, pending further U.S. government announcements, the company said.
SRNA said it will update the Minimum Advertised Pricing program to reflect the changes, and the sales teams will provide details of the increase to dealers.
