RICHBURG, S.C.—The Chester County (South Carolina) Chamber of Commerce recently awarded Giti Tire USA with its Industry of the Year Award.
The award recognizes exceptional contributions to the local community and its steadfast support for its employees. Giti said the recent award ceremony highlighted its dedication to fostering growth and prosperity within Chester County.
The tire maker said it has "demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement and employee welfare, embodying corporate responsibility," with its initiatives leaving "a lasting impact on the Chester County community, resonating through various philanthropic endeavors and educational programs."
Giti Tire said it has staunchly supported education, sponsoring the Giti Math & Science competition in collaboration with the Chester County School District since 2018.
It also has also organized farmer's markets and participated in food drives. In addition, Giti said its annual Formula Drift Ride Along event, featuring locally manufactured Giti tires, provides an opportunity for students and community members to experience plant tours and drift car rides.
