Enviro receives follow-up pyrolysis order from 'leading U.S. oil company'

GOTHENBURG, Sewden—Scandinavian Enviro Systems A.B. received an order for pyrolysis oil, valued at an estimated $450,000, from the subsidiary of a "leading U.S. oil company."

Enviro said this is the same company that had submitted an initial order for oil in February 2022 for production tests and that the oil ordered this time is the "same type" as the initial order.

Delivery of the order, Enviro said in its Feb. 2 news release, is expected over about one year, beginning in March 2023, and will continue following "successful production testing by the customer."

"The oil from the initial order was used for production tests to determine how suitable the oil is for the production of various biofuels," Enviro said. "In November 2022, Enviro was able to announce that the production testing by the oil company in question had yielded good results."

The ISCC-certified pyrolysis oil will come from Enviro's plant in Asensbruk, Austria.

"This order is yet another example of the growing interest in the oil we can recover and deliver to the market," Enviro CEO Thomas Soerensson said. "Increasing volume requirements among our customers also confirm the need for expanded recycling capacity that we have identified and based our expansion plans on."
