The ACS Rubber Division will host Kylie Knipp, senior technical account manager at Ace Laboratories, for its upcoming WORD Conversation, with Heather Maimone, director of training and membership with the Rubber Division, moderating the conversation.
The conversation, taking place via Zoom on March 26 from 12-1 p.m., is free to attend and will begin with about 10 minutes of open networking.
Knipp earned her chemical engineering degree from the University of Akron and has been involved in the rubber industry—namely in compounding, mixing and testing—for the last 12 years. She began her career in custom mixing at Portage Precision Polymers as a plant chemist before transitioning to the testing industry as a technical advisor, education coordinator and account manager. She also is an active member of the Rubber Division's Education Committee and Young Professionals Committee, where she participates in student outreach programs.
