CLEVELAND—The ACS Rubber Division will be hosting 160 high school students from Northeast Ohio schools with its Experience Elastomers Student Outreach program during the International Elastomer Conference.
The group is looking for donations to implement the program, according to a Rubber Division news release. Costs include space and setup, lunch and transportation for the students, and experiment materials.
Companies donating $250 or more will be recognized as a sponsor of the student event, and for their support in a Show Daily article, social media coverage and student event signage. Donations must be received by Aug. 26.
The outreach program provides hands-on experiments for students grades 9-12 at the International Elastomer Conference to learn more about the rubber industry. It also includes interactive tours of the expo floor.
