In many ways that count, distribution really makes the rubber and tire industry run.
Whether it's tires, industrial goods or the materials and chemicals used to make those products, much of that is sold through distributors. They fill a vital role on the supply chain, making sure the goods get either to the end customer, or those making the products in the case of materials.
These players can range from small shops with just one or two locations to billion-dollar conglomerates to everything in between. But whatever the size, the distribution sector saw a lot of activity in 2024.
From mergers and acquisitions to some distribution giants expanding, along with a bankruptcy on the tire side, there were no shortages of headlines. And it doesn't look like the pace is going to slow down anytime soon.
