CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio—It's time to honor those who don't get the recognition they deserve.
To celebrate those who work tirelessly for the industry—the administrative assistants, marketing and event staffs, salespeople, shop floor employees, truck drivers, dock workers, warehouse crews and maintenance teams—Rubber & Plastics News is introducing its Unsung Heroes project.
Through the initiative, we'll spotlight those throughout the industry who make an impact every day—those who make work fun, who care for their co-workers, and who go above and beyond because their pride and passion will allow nothing less.
Through July 9, we'll accept nominations for the honor. Those chosen to be part of our Unsung Heroes will be featured with a small bio in the Aug. 9 print issue of RPN—the 50th anniversary issue. The bios later will appear online.
While there are many executives who exemplify these traits, we are looking to honor those typically not featured in the pages of RPN.
Any rubber industry company—regardless of size—is eligible to participate.
When you think of someone deserving of some recognition, encourage them to visit rubbernews.com/heroes to fill out a short, biographical questionnaire that will allow them to be considered for inclusion in the project.
When the form is submitted, we'll follow up to confirm its receipt and request a high-resolution photo to include with their bio.
If you have any questions about the project, contact Managing Editor Erin Pustay Beaven at [email protected] or Editor Bruce Meyer at [email protected].
