Inspiration, excellence—those aren't hard to find, especially in the rubber and tire industries.
Innovations are taking these sectors to new heights, and new generations of leaders are stepping forward to challenge and inspire.
This year, Rubber & Plastics News wants to celebrate women throughout the rubber and tire industries who are challenging us to see those new perspectives and pushing us to take our businesses and innovations further.
We'll kick off the Women in Tire and Rubber initiative with the July 27 print issue, which will feature a special section that highlights some of the women who are changing the rubber and tire industries for the better. In addition to stories written by our staff members, we'll profile some of the women around the industry who are making a difference.
Those interested in having their profiles included in the July 27 print issues special section, can fill out a profile survey at rubbernews.com/women.
If you know a woman you think deserves to be profiled, please encourage her to complete the profile questionnaire.
The deadline to return the digital questionnaire is July 10.
We'll bring our initiative full circle with a special panel discussion at our 2020 International Tire Exhibition & Conference event, moderated by Lakisha Miller-Barclay, executive director of the ACS Rubber Division. The program is intended to bring together women from around the tire industry to discuss leadership practices. The panel discussion is designed to inspire others and offer insights into everyday best practices for businesses and professionals.
