CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio—Robin Clark has joined Rubber News as editorial researcher.
Her job is a new position for Rubber News, and she will be based out of the Cuyahoga Falls office. Clark will be developing new rankings related to various sectors of the industry that will be published in Rubber News and also made available for sale in the publication's Data Store.
She is a two-time Kent State University alumna, having completed her master's degree in library and information science in August 2020 after earning her bachelor's degree in English with a minor in writing in 2014.
Between her degrees, Clark earned her certification in editing and publishing at the University of Denver Publishing Institute. In addition to her fair share of seasonal retail and food service jobs, she spent nearly a decade tutoring writing at several different writing centers. She loved collaborating with writers on all sorts of writing projects, helping bring their stories to life and learning many new things in the process.
Most recently, Clark worked as a career specialist for Jobs for Ohio's Graduates, where she helped young people access resources to help them achieve their personal and career goals.
She lives in Akron with her significant other, Derek, and their cats, Blue and Chicory, where they enjoy lounging around watching reruns of Bob's Burgers, The Simpsons, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Though she is a true introvert, she loves to travel and explore new places. She collects more books than she has the capacity to read in her lifetime and her most prized possession is her signed first edition copy of "Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?" by her favorite author, Joyce Carol Oates.
