Watch the total solar eclipse with Endurica at its Community Conference

FINDLAY, Ohio—Watch the total solar eclipse with Endurica L.L.C., as the Findlay-based company hosts its first Community Conference April 8-9.

The conference—with the theme "Delivering Durability Across the Rubber Supply Chain"—will bring together OEMs, rubber parts manufacturers and material suppliers at the Hancock Hotel in downtown Findlay and is uniquely timed for the total solar eclipse on April 8.

"This rare event, offering almost four minutes of totality in Findlay, will provide a spectacular backdrop to the conference activities, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees," Endurica said in Feb. 27 press release.

The conference's two-day agenda will focus on the latest in simulating rubber durability, materials characterization and testing methodologies, showcasing how these technologies are advancing rubber product and tire durability worldwide. The event also features a mix of keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops and user presentations by technology leaders from Endurica, CNH Industrial, Birla Carbon, Rassini Bypasa, General Motors Co., Tenneco, BASF Corp., Bridgestone Americas Inc., Stellantis N.V. and the Centre for Tire Research (CenTiRe).

"This is our first event of this scale, and it's truly exciting to bring people from around the world together to focus on advancements in rubber durability," Will Mars, founder and president of Endurica, said in a statement. "We have arranged the very best viewing location for participants to experience the eclipse, which will add an extraordinary highlight to our gathering, making it an even more memorable event."

The conference is free to attend with support from presenting sponsors Axel Products, Coesfeld, Dassault Systemes and Wolf Star Technologies. Additional sponsors include ACE Laboratories, Akron Rubber Development Laboratory, Rubber Heart, Ansys, the ACS Rubber Division and Smithers.
