CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio—Sustainability is a massive issue, with facets touching nearly every part of the tire and rubber product industry—from material procurement and manufacturing to end-of-life uses.
And while there are major opportunities, there are major hurdles to achieving success in material circularity, lower CO2 emissions and fewer scrap tire piles.
Join Rubber News Reporter Andrew Schunk, Editor Bruce Meyer and a panel of three industry experts Aug. 22 as they take a deep dive into several of these material and processing innovations (including recovered carbon black); the newly formed Tire Recycling Foundation, the importance of partnerships and end-of-life avenues; and other sustainability trends driving major changes in tire and rubber product composition.
Panelists for the livestream include Marjolein Groeneweg, global marketing director, synthetic rubber, Synthos Group; Andrew Meurer, president and chief commercial officer, Liberty Tire Recycling; and John Sheerin, director of end-of-life tire programs, U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association.
