CERRITOS, Calif.—Just about every routine looked different in 2020 compared to recent years. The holiday season, it seems, is no exception.
That's what R.D. Abbott Co. Inc.'s traditional holiday video tried to capture. Produced remotely with help from 16 employees, the video pays tribute to the ways in which remote work has changed our lives and the varying ways in which the new routine has been embraced.
" 'The RDAbbott Bunch' finds the fun in audio-visual issues, silly emojis, crazy virtual backgrounds ranging from beaches to blizzards, plus the interruptions and distractions that come with working from home," the company said in a news release. "Along with awkward meeting moments, there are team members whose professional attire on top doesn't match the casual, yet comfortable, bottoms that were meant to be kept off camera."
In addition to wishing customers, friends and family the best of holidays, the company said the video serves as a reminder that R.D. Abbott's team is working hard to ensure the same quality service and products that customers have come to expect.
"This year's been different with the quarantine for sure," the R.D. Abbott employees sing, "but you can always rest assured, we're here to serve you—our awesome customers!"
