CERRITOS, Calif.—R.D. Abbott Co. Inc. will be attending the ACS Rubber Division's Spring Technical Meeting, scheduled for April 27-29 at the Embassy Suites hotel in Independence, Ohio.
Representatives from the full service supplier and distributor to the rubber industry will attend technical meetings and have a tabletop exhibit, which will be part of the first two days of the hybrid event.
The three members of the R.D. Abbott team who will participate include:
- Krista Toutant, the firm's business line manager, who also is the assistant treasurer for the Rubber Division's Executive and Steering Committees and is a member of the Membership, Future Sites and Marketing Committees;
- Jerry McCall, vice president of sales and marketing, who is past chair member of the Rubber Division's Steering Committee. He also serves as the organization's Exhibits and Future Sites Committee chair, area director for the Southern Rubber Group, as well as being a member of the Finance and Budget Committee; and
- Scott Legleu, senior business development manager, who is part of the Rubber Division's Membership and Marketing Committees.
This will be the Rubber Division's 199th technical meeting. Because of the ongoing pandemic, the technical presentations will be available either in person or online to registrants. Presentation recordings will remain available for on-demand viewing for 60 days.
In-person tabletop exhibits are scheduled for April 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern, and on April 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern.
Science and Technology Awards ceremony and presentations are also scheduled.
