PLANTATION, Fla.—Carbon black measurement requires consistency, reliability and precision, and testing technology company Qualitest claims its new QualiCBCT-200 tester can provide that and much more as carbon black prices continue to rise.
Introduced at the end of 2024, the product is Qualitest's most advanced carbon black testing instrument, according to Qualitest Sales Consultant Greg Skory. He claimed that with the new testing product, Qualitest customers can achieve more accurate carbon black measurements than ever before.
"Its advanced features simplify complex analyses, making it an ideal choice for laboratories and production facilities," the company said. "Whether for routine quality checks or in-depth material research, this instrument delivers the precision and consistency the rubber industry requires."
The company and its testing technology work with companies throughout the rubber and elastomer industries, as well as tech giants including Tesla, NASA and Apple, Skory said.
Qualitest officials hoped to respond to growing market demand during the development cycle of the new tester. After several years in the lab, Skory and other officials believe that the product was released just in time for "a timely need for innovation in material testing."
