CHICAGO—The PTDA Foundation's 2025 Fund Drive has raised $148,000 during its first phase, the association said Feb. 12.
The funds will go toward "making a strong impact to help power transmission and motion control employees" the PTDA said. The association's Building Awareness Campaign hopes to enhance recruitment and retention throughout the power transmission manufacturing sector.
The association was able to raise the money between October and December 2024, led by the association's PTDA Foundation Vanguard Contributors. Matt Pavlinsky, 2025 PTDA Foundation President, said that this work is "vital to global manufacturing" and will help the association drive growth and success.
"Our work is vital to global manufacturing, and the talent we attract drives its growth and success," says Matt Pavlinsky, 2025 PTDA Foundation President, Applied Industrial Technologies. "Like many industries, our employers face challenges in attracting and holding onto top talent. As the Foundation continues its scholarship programs and Building Awareness campaign to promote the various, rewarding careers in the PT/MC industry, we're grateful to those who have shown their commitment by pledging to the 2025 Fund Drive."
The association thanked "partner contributors" Allied Bearing & Supply Inc. and Regal Rexnord for their donations of more than $15,000 each throughout the fundraising effort.
