CHICAGO, Ill.—The Power Transmission Distributors Association Foundation is accepting nominations for its 2024 Leadership Awards.
The group will present the Wendy B. McDonald Woman of the Year Award and Robert K. Callahan Advancing Leaders Award at the PTDA 2024 Industry Summit at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., in October.
Nominations for both awards will be accepted through June 8.
The iconic Wendy B. McDonald Award recognizes a woman, regardless of where she might be in her career, who "has made significant contributions to her company and the PT/MC industry in 2023."

"The Wendy B. McDonald Woman of the Year Award recognizes a woman who has established herself as a critical contributor to her company's success in 2023 and who has spearheaded transformation and made a difference in the power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry at any level in her career," the nominating information states.
The Robert (Bob) K. Callahan Advancing Leaders Award celebrates the "dedication and ambition of young individuals committed to advancing within the PT/MC industry."

"In recognition of Bob Callahan's commitment to and passion for the advancement of new talent within the industry, the PTDA Foundation created the Robert K. Callahan Advancing Leaders Award," the award information states.
Nominations for this award are not gender-specific—all are welcome to be considered.
The PTDA Foundation, whose work is funded solely by donations, was founded in 1982. The group champions education, outreach and research initiatives relevant to the PT/MC industry that enhance the knowledge and/or professionalism and productivity for industry stakeholders.
