CHICAGO—Three new companies have joined the Power Transmission Distributors Association, the organization announced Dec. 7.
TBC, Inc., the Texas Bearing Co. of Amarillo, Texas, has joined the PTDA. The company is a distributor of bearings, power transmission equipment, fluid power components and screening, crushing, washing and material handling equipment.
TBC, which distributes to a number of different industries, maintains seven warehouses across Texas.
"We have joined PTDA to help strengthen our relationships with our existing manufacturers, pursue new relationships and build on best practices in this ever-changing world," said Berry Smith, president.
Ewellix USA L.L.C. of Center Valley, Pa., is a manufacturer of linear motion components and also has joined the PTDA. Ewellix provides solutions to increase machine performance, maximize uptime, reduce maintenance, improve safety and save energy. They service the medical, mobile machinery, auto assembly and other industries.
"At Ewellix, we want to be close to our customer no matter where they are," President Tarek Bugaighis said in a statement. "We joined PTDA to connect with a network of industry leaders to build powerful and long-lasting relationships."
The third new member is BackboneAI of New York City, N.Y., which builds data networks through automation. The company offers real-time data synchronization, fast API connectivity and third-party application and database integration. The business was founded in 2019 by CEO Rob Bailey.
"It is an honor to be a part of such a prestigious institution," Bailey said. "We look forward to helping PTDA members in bringing new digital transformation solutions to industrial suppliers and distributors."
