KIRKLAND, Wa.—Prism Worldwide L.L.C. launched a new car mat with "cutting-edge" TPE technology.
The new CIRX car mats, Prism said in an Aug. 26 news release, uses Ancora TPE, specifically Ancora C-1082, "a high-performance material that incorporates 50-percent recycled content derived from end-of-life tires, utilizing Prism's advanced process technology."
The custom compounder said the new car mats are a "testament to Prism's commitment to sustainability and innovation." By incorporating recycled tire material into its Ancora formulation, the firm said it was able to enhance the durability and functionality of the car mats.
"With the introduction of CIRX car mats, we have demonstrated that Ancora TPE are setting a new benchmark for sustainability," said Mark Kinkelaar, chief commercial officer at Prism. "Our Ancora C-1082 technology represents a significant advancement in using recycled materials without compromising on quality or performance. This product exemplifies our dedication to both innovation and environmental responsibility."
CEO Bob Abramowitz echoed this sentiment.
"The launch of CIRX car mats underscores Prism's unwavering commitment to driving change within TPE industry," he said. "By leveraging recycled end-of-life tires in our Ancora TPE technology, we are not only reducing waste but also delivering a product that aligns with our vision for a greener future."
