When it comes to tires—the more sustainable, higher-performing kind—there are challenges ahead. Tire longevity for one. Enhanced traction for another.
But there are solutions, too. And Polymer Solutions Group will examine some of them.
During an hour-long webinar Nov. 7, PSG Product Innovation Chemist Gabriel Short and Innovation Program Manager Vince Cremona will explore some of the emerging tire performance demands and the ability of its SureMix functional process aids and high-performance silanization to address them while raising performance standards.
"Our SureMix USDA-certified bio-based products have a proven track record of improving processability while retaining or enhancing tire performance by optimizing silica microdispersion and hydrophobation," Aaron Puhala, PSG vice president of innovation, said in a statement. "If you need to take your products' performance to new heights, you will not want to miss this game-changing event."
The webinar "Overcoming Processing Challenges (Part 2) – Elevate Tire Performance with SureMix and High-Performance Silanization," is set for 8:30-9:30 a.m. Eastern on Nov. 7. It is the fourth in a series of free webinars focused on performance and sustainability objectives for tires and rubber products.
